L’association Espérance banlieues, créée en 2012 par Eric Mestrallet, développe des écoles indépendantes et aconfessionnelles, du CP à la 3e, dans les quartiers défavorisés. Avec une promesse : accompagner les enfants dans leur réussite scolaire, mais aussi les aider à s’épanouir dans toutes leurs dimensions. Nous avons à coeur de former des esprits et des coeurs libres et responsables qui puissent trouver toute leur place dans la société dans laquelle ils grandissent. La réussite du modèle Espérance banlieues repose sur un suivi personnalisé des élèves, en lien étroit avec les parents, grâce à de petits effectifs et en s’appuyant sur des méthodes alternatives adaptées aux besoins spécifiques des élèves des quartiers défavorisés. Espérance banlieues compte aujourd’hui 17 écoles et accueille 1000 enfants, partout en France.
