La direction interrégionale des services pénitentiaires de Marseille couvre une région administrative de Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur et la collectivité de Corse.Elle s’étend sur 8 départements (Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-Maritimes, Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Corse du Sud et Haute-Corse).Elle comprend 16 établissements et 6 services pénitentiaires d’insertion et de probation.La direction interrégionale anime, contrôle et coordonne l’activité des établissements pénitentiaires et des services pénitentiaires placés sous son autorité.
