La Ligue de l'enseignement d'Ille-et-Vilaine, mouvement d’éducation populaire, au service de l'idéal laïque, démocratique et républicain, fédère 190 associations sur le département. La fédération, de part son agrément auprès de l’Agence Nationale du Service Civique accompagne ses associations affiliées dans l'accueil de volontaires. Pour cela elle assure la gestion, le suivi administratif, la coordination et la formation des volontaires en veillant au respect du cadre législatif et moral du dispositif service civique.
