Service Civique lets any young person aged 16 to 25 (up to 30 with a disability) take on missions paid €620 a month for 6 to 12 months, across a range of fields — a chance to feel useful, build skills, and discover themselves.

Mission description

Volunteers support academic mentoring, help prevent school dropout, provide orientation information, and help animate secondary school life. By working with middle and high school teams, volunteers participate in preventing school dropout, supporting orientation, and promoting school democracy.

L’école les différents cycles :L'école maternelle accueille les enfants au début de l'instruction obligatoire qui débute à 3 ans. Sa mission principale est de donner envie aux enfants d'aller à l'école pour apprendre, affirmer et épanouir leur personnalité. C'est une école où les enfants vont apprendre ensemble et vivre ensemble. Ils y développent leur langage oral et commencent à découvrir les écrits, les nombres et d'autres domaines d'apprentissage. Ils apprennent en jouant, en réfléchissant et en résolvant des problèmes, en s'exerçant, en se remémorant et en mémorisant.L'école élémentaire accueille les enfants scolarisés de 6 à 11 ans. Les enseignements sont conçus par cycle, d'une durée de trois ans.Le cycle 2, ou cycle des apprentissages fondamentaux, comprend le cours préparatoire (CP), le cours élémentaire première année (CE1) et le cours élémentaire deuxième année (CE2).Le cycle 3, ou cycle de consolidation, comprend le cours moyen première année (CM1) et le cours moyen deuxième année (CM2) ; le cycle de consolidation se poursuit au collège, en classe de sixième.C'est durant cette période que s'acquièrent les bases de l'apprentissage de la lecture, de l'écriture et des mathématiques.
