Spörgelhof is an organic market garden run as an ecological, social, and solidarity-based farm (SoLaWi, equivalent to CSAs in France). Vegetables are grown bio-intensively on a small surface, limiting machinery use. Vegetables are distributed weekly to 150 farm members who participate in its operations. A collective housing project exists on the property. Some residents work on the farm while others pursue alternative, solidarity, and ecological lifestyles.
