Service Civique lets any young person aged 16 to 25 (up to 30 with a disability) take on missions paid €620 a month for 6 to 12 months, across a range of fields — a chance to feel useful, build skills, and discover themselves.

Mission description

Support futsal development to make sports more accessible to women and girls traditionally underrepresented in athletics. Organize and lead awareness activities, initiation sessions, and welcoming events in a friendly atmosphere. Work alongside club leaders, volunteers, and coaches.

The organisation

UNION SPORTIVE DE LA JEUNESSE FURIANAISE

L'association USJ Furiani a été créée en 2011. Avec un palmarès etoffé (3 titres de championrégional, ainsi que plusieurs autres trophées régionaux) le club s'ouvre à des activitéssociales avec notamment la création d'une «école de Futsal» ouverte à tous les jeunesdésirant découvrir la discipline. Ces derniers participent durant toute la saison à desentraînements spécifiques à la discipline, en complément (ou pas) du football traditionnel.L'USJ Furiani compte cette saison plus de cent licenciés. En effet, outre l'équipe fanion quiparticipe au championnat de France de Division 2, l'association possède une équipe réservedisputant le championnat régional (R1). L'USJ Furiani oeuvre également dans la régionbastiaise en permettant aux enfants et adolescents de la micro-région de pratiquer le futsalà moindre coût, voire gratuitement (par le biais de stages vacances par exemple). Le Comitéd'Administration est composé d'une dizaine de membres actifs. Des commissions(techniques, sportives, administratives) travaillent chaque jour pour le développement del'association.
