Service Civique lets any young person aged 16 to 25 (up to 30 with a disability) take on missions paid €620 a month for 6 to 12 months, across a range of fields — a chance to feel useful, build skills, and discover themselves.

Mission description

The Palais du Peuple is a housing and social reintegration center welcoming 108 isolated men with diverse life experiences. The mission involves running and facilitating a collaborative bike workshop within the facility. The goal is to provide an open space where residents can repair, maintain and restore bikes, while meeting, exchanging ideas, and learning from each other. Participate in daily workshop operations, welcome users, and guide them through repair projects.

Prévention, aide à la réinsertion, secours d’urgence, la mission de la Fondation de l’Armée du Salut est globale.Elle intervient principalement dans le domaine de l’action sociale et médico-sociale, de la protection et l’accompagnement de l’enfance et de l’adolescence, du soin, du handicap ou de la dépendance et du secours/aide alimentaire.Plus de 200 établissements et services présents dans 12 régions et 2800 salariés sont au service des personnes fragilisées.Le Dispositif :Le CHRS du Palais du Peuple accueille, de manière inconditionnelle, des hommes isolés qui ont connu un parcours difficile sur trois sites distincts. Le CHRS a pour mission l’accueil, l’hébergement, l’accompagnement et l’insertion sociale des personnes connaissant des difficultés en vue de les aider à accéder ou recouvrer leur autonomie. Il s’agit d’accompagner les personnes accueillies en prenant en compte toutes les composantes de la vie des personnes (santé, loisirs culture, emploi, citoyenneté…).
