The Rugles Cultural Association coordinates a social living space whose mission is to create connections between residents of all ages, archive community support, and support projects. Many seniors are isolated and invisible, sometimes suffering from loneliness and withdrawing from social life. By sharing anecdotes and memories with a young volunteer, they can open up to others and participate in activities. Actions include: home visits (accompanied by a volunteer), memory collection through film, encouraging seniors to join ACR activities, co-facilitating social gatherings, and occasional participation in special events.
