Service Civique lets any young person aged 16 to 25 (up to 30 with a disability) take on missions paid €620 a month for 6 to 12 months, across a range of fields — a chance to feel useful, build skills, and discover themselves.

Mission description

Use sports as a tool for social connection, inclusion and citizenship at a community center. Work to make physical activity accessible to all (young people, women, seniors) by engaging with residents, removing barriers to participation, and promoting sports' health and civic benefits.

AVANT GARDE JEANNE D'ARC DE CAUDERAN

L’association Avant Garde Jeanne d’Arc Bordeaux Caudéran est issue de la fusion en 1972 de deux patronages : l’Avant Garde de Caudéran (fondé en 1903, déclaré en 1907) et la Jeanne d’Arc.Basée pendant très longtemps sur la seule activité du football, elle entame son développement à la fin des années 70. Elle incorpore successivement d’autres disciplines sportives de compétition et de détente, puis des activités socioculturelles et enfin des activités d’animation.En 1992, la Ville de Bordeaux reconnaît la qualité de son fonctionnement et son esprit en lui donnant le label de Maison de Quartier qui se traduit par un partenariat plus étroit.Animée depuis ses débuts par des dirigeants bénévoles, elle a vu son action se renforcer par la venue de professionnels du sport, de la culture et de l’animation.En 2017, l’AGJA a fêté ses 110 ans confirmant ainsi une place enviée dans le clan des centenaires. Le souhait de l’association est de perpétuer toutes ses actions et missions dans le cadre sportif, culturel, éducatif et social.En 2019, l’AGJA a créé un fonds de dotation, Génération Avant-Garde, pour réaliser des projets de solidarité et d’entraide pour des publics fragiles autour du sport, de la culture, de la santé et du handicap.
