As an ambassador for solidarity, social bonds, and logistics at the Social and Solidarity Grocery Stores of the Gard Food Bank, you'll support and accompany people in food precarity situations. The mission enables people experiencing precarity to regain dignity and autonomy through access to quality food at reduced cost. The volunteer acts as a true social connector, transforming the solidarity grocery into a space of exchange, inclusion, and diversity while actively combating food waste and family, retiree, and student food precarity. Tasks include preparing merchandise and managing inventory.
