The volunteer provides relational and reassuring presence to residents and promotes good relationships among them. Supporting educational staff, the volunteer accompanies people in daily life and activities and participates in educational meetings. Objectives: This mission broadens the volunteer's perspective on the world. Contact with people with disabilities allows better understanding of this population and benefits from the team's experience. Actions: The volunteer is housed on-site in a private room. Within a community of people with intellectual disabilities, the volunteer contributes to co-constructing activities.
