Mission description

Manage the National League Against Obesity's social media to raise youth awareness about obesity, combat weight-based discrimination and prejudice, and promote inclusion with accessible prevention messages. Create engaging content including posts, videos and testimonials to fight discrimination and promote respect, equality and kindness.

LA LIGUE NATIONALE CONTRE L'OBESITE

Depuis sa création en 2014, la Ligue contre l’obésité (LCO) fait de la lutte contre l’obésité un enjeu majeur de son engagement humanitaire. Elle entend faire bouger les lignes tout en structurant le débat. La philosophie de la LCO est soutenue par une vision humaniste et volontariste pour changer le regard porté sur l’obésité. Sa mission va au-delà d’une brève échéance. C’est tout le regard que nos enfants porteront sur l’obésité et sur nous que la LCO entend modifier sur le long terme. La LCO développe et s’appuie sur un maillage territorial d’antennes départementales qui regroupe l’entièreté de la chaîne des intervenants nécessaires autour du surpoids et de l’obésité (soins et hors soins). Au-delà de la lutte contre la maladie, la Ligue place au cœur de son dispositif les femmes, les enfants et les hommes qui souffrent d’une cruelle injustice. Un combat porté ensemble par les médecins et les patients, sans moralisation ni culpabilisation.
