Service Civique lets any young person aged 16 to 25 (up to 30 with a disability) take on missions paid €620 a month for 6 to 12 months, across a range of fields — a chance to feel useful, build skills, and discover themselves.

Mission description

Join us for 11 months to care for 95 therapy animals of 14 different species including horses, donkeys, goats, and small animals. Participate in daily care while contributing to their well-being and their mission supporting vulnerable people. Be a motivated, responsible volunteer committed to animal welfare.

AMAÉ Association de Médiation, d’Acccompagnement et d’Equicoaching Globe Trotters (association de loi 1901 à but non lucratif et reconnue d’intérêt général)AMAÉ GLOBE TROTTERS, située sur un corps de ferme, propose 2 activités : 1. La médiation par l'animal à visée éducative et thérapeutique auprès de publics fragilisés. Nous travaillons avec 95 animaux médiateurs répartis en 14 espèces (chevaux, poneys, ânes, brebis, chèvres, poules de soie, canards coureurs, chinchillas, cochons d’inde, lapins, octodons, abeilles, chats, chiens d'assistance Handi'chiens).2; L'équicoaching (coaching assisté par les chevaux) à destination des équipes et/ou les managers).3 professionnels : 1 agent animalier le week-end et 2 intervenantes en médiation par l'animal interviennent avec 95 animaux médiateurs répartis en 14 espèces (chevaux, ânes, poneys, chèvres, brebis, poules, canards, chinchillas, octodons, cochons d'inde, lapins nains, chats, abeilles, chiens d'assistance Handi'Chiens dit d'accompagnement social).La médiation par l'animal est une méthode innovante d'accompagnement qui consiste en une relation d'aide par laquelle un professionnel qualifié met en lien un animal éduqué auprès d'une personne fragilisée. Nous intervenons en séances individuelles ou collectives, sur notre site à Géraudot, au sein d'établissements médico-sociaux, pénitentiaires, hospitaliers, scolaires sur tout le département de l'Aube et/ou au domicile de personnes.A travers ses actions de médiation par l'animal, l'association souhaite améliorer le bien- être des animaux, la qualité de vie des bénéficiaires, favoriser le lien social, la mixité sociale et le mieux vivre ensemble.
