Address growing food insecurity: food banks nationally distribute nearly 224 million meals annually to 2.4 million people. Work with Food Bank volunteers and staff on various association activities, contributing expertise to serve those experiencing food precarity. Participate in collecting, sorting, preparing, and distributing food products to partner organizations (social services and associations). Depending on abilities or interests, participate in awareness-raising and prevention activities.
