Mission description

Want to share a love of reading and awaken student curiosity? Join the OGEC Matoury Media Center to co-facilitate reading and writing activities, assist with research, and contribute to projects around culture and media alongside the teacher-librarian. Objectives include promoting all students' access to reading, culture, and information, encouraging curiosity, research autonomy, and critical thinking about media and digital content, and making the media center a welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive space. Working alongside the teacher-librarian, the volunteer participates in preparing and co-facilitating reading and writing activities.
