France has 10 million elderly people, and in ten years there will be nearly double. Dependent elderly persons and those from modest backgrounds particularly suffer from isolation. The objective is to maintain each person's autonomy as long as possible while developing rich and dynamic social life for everyone's well-being. Mentored by a tutor, the volunteer will help prepare or co-lead activities matching residents' interests (reading, writing, conversation, games, walks) and propose and support coordinators in organizing outings and adapted activities.
