The main objective for civic service volunteers is to establish and participate in a civic mobilization day called Parliament in the Street. CCFD-Terre Solidaire conducts global citizenship education to encourage civic engagement. Through Parliament in the Street, the volunteer will help develop critical thinking, deconstruct prejudices, and encourage engagement and living together. Activities may include raising awareness among different audiences about CCFD-Terre Solidaire's international solidarity issues, particularly migrants' rights, and participating in meetings between international partners and volunteers.
