Service Civique lets any young person aged 16 to 25 (up to 30 with a disability) take on missions paid €620 a month for 6 to 12 months, across a range of fields — a chance to feel useful, build skills, and discover themselves.

Mission description

Support people who face difficulties expressing themselves. Help strengthen participation and agency of protected adults by gathering their feedback on the quality of support they receive through questionnaires, individual conversations, and group discussions. Make their voices heard in service improvement processes.

L’association du Groupement d’Entraide Départemental aux Handicapés Inadaptés et à leurs Familles œuvre depuis 1955.Elle participe à l’accompagnement de plus de 1700 personnes, enfants et adultes, en situation de handicap, en partenariat étroit des familles.Elle est affiliée au mouvement UNAPEI.Notre action s’inscrit autour de grandes valeurs universelles (dignité, citoyenneté, solidarité, qualité de vie, participation, respect mutuel et collaboration harmonieuse, militantisme, respect des décisions démocra-tiques…).Cependant, les valeurs qui distinguent réellement notre mouvement parental sont celles qui touchent à l’action familiale et à l’entraide (l’aide, l’écoute, le soutien familial).La vocation de l’Association est de répondre aux besoins et aux attentes des personnes en situation de han-dicap mental, de favoriser leur inclusion et de leur permettre de vivre dignement avec et parmi les autres.Les réponses mises en œuvre s’appuient sur un recueil des besoins, dans un souci permanent de permettre à la personne d’être actrice de son parcours de vie.
