Service Civique lets any young person aged 16 to 25 (up to 30 with a disability) take on missions paid €620 a month for 6 to 12 months, across a range of fields — a chance to feel useful, build skills, and discover themselves.

Mission description

Participate in educational and pedagogical activities with students ages 2-11 and help include disabled students while supporting various projects. Cooperate with teachers and disability support staff to help animate recreational activities with appropriate activities for all. Participate in morning welcome, facilitate transitions between school and after-school activities, help organize classroom space, assist with school outings under adult supervision, help animate playground time.

Dans le cadre du développement du service civique universel, le ministère de l’Education nationale s’est engagé à accueillir des jeunes de 18 à 25 ans. Les missions confiées à ces jeunes doivent répondre aux besoins de la société et à ses défis notamment sociaux et environnementaux. Elles doivent représenter pour eux un engagement motivant, utile et formateur. En accord avec l’Agence du service civique (ASC), le ministère a défini différents types de mission que les écoles, les réseaux d’écoles (dans le cadre d’un projet animé au niveau de la circonscription), les collèges, les lycées (dont les pôles de stages) ou les CIO pourront proposer aux volontaires.
