Service Civique lets any young person aged 16 to 25 (up to 30 with a disability) take on missions paid €620 a month for 6 to 12 months, across a range of fields — a chance to feel useful, build skills, and discover themselves.

Mission description

Raise primary school students' awareness of balanced nutrition and regular physical activity while encouraging eco-responsible behaviors that benefit their health, wellbeing, and environmental protection. Support school and municipal educational initiatives on nutrition, physical activity, and eco-practices. Animate activities and encourage student participation under professional supervision without replacing existing staff roles.

The organisation

MEF - Mission Locale du Pays Thouarsais

La Maison de l’Emploi et de la Formation du Thouarsais (MEF), porte sur son territoire d’intervention l’activité Mission Locale qui accueille, informe, oriente et accompagne les jeunes de 16 à 25 ans en vue de faciliter leur insertion professionnelle. La MEF du Thouarsais met en œuvre des actions concertées visant à l’insertion et à la qualification professionnelle des jeunes. Elle coordonne et co-construit des actions d’insertion professionnelle en tenant compte du projet de vie globale du jeune (volets social, formation, emploi) en coordination avec les instances et organismes travaillant de manière régulière en direction de la jeunesse dans une logique de partenariat.Le Thouarsais est un territoire rural de plus de 41 000 habitants dont 1 200 jeunes bénéficient des actions de la ML tous les ans.
